European Intergenerational Learning Platform

Co-Funded by the European Union Vertical Logo

We aim to improve the digital competencies of senior adults to facilitate the use of digital tools and applications in order to make them participate in society in a more active way. Perhaps even more importantly, now is the time to improve the dialogue between seniors and young people because we want to prove that these age groups can learn from each other for the benefit of society even by enhancing the employment and well-being of the European citizens. In this direction, The Learning Age project also seeks to increase the training offer of adult education centres, with innovative strategies that invite participation in training based on the methodology of intergenerational learning. This is expected to involve more adults in lifelong education in partner countries Spain, Romania, Poland and Cyprus and to create an international online learning community hosting successful projects and resources based on the principles of inclusion.

How we work

We create an innovative learning environment for teaching and gaining new knowledge. But before gaining new knowledge, to do it more effectively you have to learn how to learn.

Because we chose innovative teaching methods, our learners can select the lesson that fits with their learning style.

We encourage trainers to take maximum advantages of digital technologies in creative, collaborative and efficient ways.

The Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) provide to youth workers flexible ways to learn how to promote the digital citizenship to young people.
