INNOVET Multiplier Event, May 2023, Romania

On 10 May 2023, Carol I Commercial College organised one multiplier event within the the Erasmus + project – Game-based learning: innovative e-learning pedagogies for VET teachers.

The first topic of discussion was the presentation of the INNOVET project results, with focus on two learning modules developed by Carol I Commercial College: Effective Communication in Hospitality and Business Lab.

After the presentation of the results, the participants played games in teams for the VET subjects using the templates for: The Crossword Puzzle, Crosswords and Want to be a Millionaire. They used the alternative digital tools presented during the event.

We concluded that digital technology can be an excellent medium for learning, development, information and collaboration. With benefits come challenges. Our partnership continues the efforts to introduce as many game elements as possible to increase student engagement during lessons in VET subjects.
