Transnational Project Meeting Senior

26th of August marked the first transnational project meeting of the strategic partnership “Supporting Elderly Needs Is Our Responsibility”, which gathered together partners from Romania – Asociatia TEAM4Excellence and Voluntariat pentru Viață, Spain – Association DESES-3, Poland – INBIE and Italy – Petit Pas Aps. With this partnership we are working to increase the level of commitment of seniors to participate in educational activities and exchanges of experiences.

Under the coordination of the Romanian organization ASOCIATIA TEAM 4 EXCELLENCE, the members of the consortium met for the first time, introducing themselves, as well as their organizations.  The Spanish partners Association DESES-3 attended the meeting online.

The partners discussed the development of the project until now and further actions, including:

  • reporting of progress
  • potential risks & mitigations
  • budget control
  • plan dissemination & exploitation activities

Overviews of the first and second results of the project were presented by the coordinator, Essential needs of educators to support seniors”, and “Course modules for educators, facilitators and volunteers”.

The course modules will be soon available to study on the European MOOC non-formal education platform – TrainingClub.eu.

The second transnational project meeting is scheduled in December, and it will be held by the Spanish partners. In the meantime, organizations work hard to finish the project results.
