Project Competition - Student Entrepreneurial Society

Entrepreneurship is the process by which individuals or a group of individuals (entrepreneurs) creates a new enterprise and bears any of its risks, with the view of making the profit. Universities support their initiatives an encourage students to join forces to act as Students Entrepreneurial Society (SES). The SES of Maritime University of Constanta has set out to create a unique educational context this year.  After participating in an entrepreneurship camp in October, five teams of students were formed and worked for a month to develop entrepreneurial project proposals.

We contributed by organizing workshops on our ZOOM platform to guide groups of students to prepare their entrepreneurial project plans. The workshops were developed within the En Mind project.

On Monday 22 November, the participants presented project proposals that they developed following a series of 4 workshops organized by Conf Univ Dr Nicoleta Acomi. In this event, T4E representatives participated as partners promoting entrepreneurship. and they were also part of the jury for the winning team.

The project proposals included: organisation of accounting courses, entrepreneurship project competitions, psychological analysis activities, seminars to which UMC graduates who are now entrepreneurs were invited.
The winning project aims to mobilize students and pupils from Constantinian high schools to participated in 5 workshops held by renowned entrepreneurs in different fields of activity. The jury appreciated both the proposed activities, the students’ involvement in the organisation, but also the risks that can affect the implementation of a project.
