Piloting the DIFA55 App, April 2023, Romania

The event “Digital Competences for Adults” was organized by TEAM4Excellence on 27 April 2023 at the Merty Hotel in Constanta, Romania. We aimed to promote lifelong learning by piloting the DIFA55 application and organising intergenerational education activities for seniors, youth and educators. This event was also a dissemination event of the DIFA55 project results to promote education with and about the importance of digital competences for adults. 

The event started at 14:00 at Merty Hotel in Constanta, Romania. Nicoleta Acomi from TEAM4Excellence welcomed the guests with a speech about the Erasmus+ lifelong learning education projects and she presented the DIFA55 project and the project results, including the DIFA55 App. Participants had on their tables leaflets about the project and a QR code to the DIFA55 app. Alongside the 55+ adults were digital skills facilitators and educators. After piloting the DIFA55 application we discussed with the participants the importance of acquiring and improving digital skills at any age. The highest quiz scorer was awarded a prize.

After that, „The multicultural digital map of Constanta” workshop aimed at reflecting on the space in which we live and finding tourist attractions that can help the community economically by exploiting their potential. The discussion focused on the cultural sector and on life experiences, travels and actions related to citizenship. At the end, participants were delighted with the activity and were invited to a buffet and networking session.
