Multicultiralism and volunteering in Europe, October 2023, Romania

As part of our volunteer corps, Team4Excellence, an activity was carried out at the Ovidiu Gymnasium school. The activity had two parts: one to learn about multiculturalism and where it is present, and the second to promote volunteering in Europe among younger people and encourage them to leave in the future.

The volunteers took a quiz about different European countries in addition to projecting a map and talking about traditions and cultures. The children were interested in learning, traveling and meeting people from outside Romania. Thanks to this, young people have an opportunity to learn through non-formal education, inside and outside the classroom, open their minds and obtain other perspectives with the help of international volunteers.
