AI Inspires VET trainers and learners

On February 20th, 2025, TEAM4Excellence Association actively promoted the INAIR – Increasing the Uptake of AI in Retail project during an outreach event held at the Navodari, Lazar Edeleanu VET school. The session brought together 28 participants, including VET teachers, trainers, and young individuals from Romania and Turkey, eager to develop their skills in the evolving field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The event focused on raising awareness about the growing need for AI competencies in the retail sector and how the INAIR project addresses this challenge.

Participants were introduced to the project’s objectives, methodology, and key outputs, with a strong emphasis on the INAIR Core Curriculum. The curriculum offers 16 modular learning units, covering foundational, intermediate, and advanced AI topics, and is tailored to the specific needs of retail professionals.

The outreach event served as a platform to highlight how AI can be integrated into VET and adult education curricula to support digital transformation, sustainability, and improved competitiveness in the retail industry. Through interactive discussions, attendees explored how INAIR resources can be used to build relevant, future-oriented training programmes.

The promotion of INAIR also aimed to encourage collaboration between educators, learners, and industry stakeholders, ensuring a stronger connection between education and labour market needs. Feedback from participants indicated a high level of interest and readiness to adopt the tools developed within the INAIR project.
