FUTURE Kick Off Meeting, July 2023, Portugal

The first transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ FUTURE project, a new youth education project within the Entrecomp, Greencomp and Digcomp competences, took place on 11 July in Portugal. It was attended by all partner organisations:

• EducPro – project coordinator (Portugal)
• ASEID Asociación para el Empleo, la Inclusión y el Desarrollo (Spain)
• TEAM4Excellence Association (Romania)
• MPIRMPAKOS D. & SIA O.E. (Greece)
• MB “Efekto grupe” (Lithuania)

The FUTURE project therefore aims to develop green and digital skills for young workers and young people (especially NEETs, unemployed, low-skilled), to increase their sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, as well as their employability. Partners discussed implementation steps to provide a range of tools for youth workers on development of green projects and sustainable entrepreneurship, as well as in the area of digital skills.

The project aims to create a toolkit to guide young people in green and digital business development, with useful activities that can be transferable to young adult education organisations. Another outcome of the project is the Entrepreneurial coaching platform that will contain a 10-module course. The Coaching course of the platform will be finalised after 5 activities, which will also create deliverables. These 5 activities are part of the 3 main stages (analyse, design, evaluate) of the Educational Design Research methodology we will be using to create the final results.

At the meeting some of the tasks of the partner organisations and their involvement in the dissemination activities of the project were also set. Follow our actions and participate in our follow-up activities in the FUTURE project.
