Fourth Transnational Project Meeting EnMind

On the 4^th of August we hosted the fourth Transnational Project Meeting in Constanta. The meeting is part of the project Entrepreneurial Mindset.  Broadly, Entrepreuneurial Mindset is a 2-year project that aim at providing youth workers and trainers new tools and skills to encourage entrepreneurship and unlock the growth potential of European young people. Two delegates from Fundacja Instytut Badan I Innowacji w Edukacji (INBIE) from Poland and 3 representatives of Governorship of Istanbul from Turkey took part in person, while one delegate from Co-Labory from Italy joined online and delivered their contribution.

Results

During the meeting the following results were presented:

• Toolkit for trainers on social entrepreneurship;
• Massive Open Online Course on Social Entrepreneurship;
• Online Educational Platform;

Toolkit for trainers on social entrepreneurship

Aiming at improving quality in the field of youth work, in particular through increased cooperation between youth organizations, partners conducted research, got in contact with several European organizations and finally presented the first result of cooperation: A toolkit for trainers on social entrepreneurship.

The Toolkit is a collection of instruments tried and tested by the project team, presented in a replicable way to support the youth workers and trainers who work with young people throughout their activity.

Massive Open Online Course on Social Entrepreneurship

In order to achieve the project scope, and to make the results widely available, partners elaborated a Massive Open Online Course on Social Entrepreneurship which is currently in the piloting phase. After closing the piloting within the partnership, in September, the course will be freely available online in five languages: English, Romanian, Turkish, Polish and Italian, on the “EnMind” online platform.

Online Educational Platform

The Online Educational Platform serves as an open education digital environment for the provision of the training, testing and certification. Through this digital platform, participants can join anytime, enrol by themselves, read on own peace, assess knowledge and get certificates of recognition. Moreover, the online trainings can be conducted more efficiently, by overcoming physical and time limitations.

In addition, participants shared good practices and examples of successful social enterprises form partners’ countries that can constitute opportunities for disadvantaged population as well as for young people to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
