Multiplier Event during Summer Festival in Germany

​After a two-year break due to Covid-19 restrictions, on the 19th of June 2022, the famous and beloved Summer Fest of the Bennohaus (with the AKO Association) finally took place once again in the best weather.

Embedded in this in order to benefit from symbioses, also a so-called Multiplier Event for the project DIGCIT took place where interested stakeholders/visitors could quickly get acquainted with the project and its outcome.

The DIGCIT project is a European project within Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership. During the project, TEAM4Excellence from Romania, Seal Cyprus from Cyprus, Bennohaus from Germany and Athens Lifelong Learning Institute from Greece work to improve the digital citizenship skills of youth.

The event was aimed at sharing the IO1 Digital Citizenship MOOC Canvas and Instructional Design, IO2 “Educational Materials for digital citizenship”, IO3 “Multilingual MOOC for youth personal development in the field of digital citizenship education” and other results that are available and ready to be freely used by youth, youth workers and other stakeholders in the youth field from Germany.

The main objective was to increase the awareness of youth and youth workers about the educational materials for digital citizenship for the purpose of empowering the digital youth in the digital era.

The event produced a positive impact on participants and their organizations:

• Youth workers will be able to use the educational materials to help youth to take ownership of their digital lives;
• Youth will improve their digital skills to think critically, behave safely and participate responsibly;
• Youth will contribute to the development of the digital skills recognition system
