The first DIFA55 Seminar in Valladolid, March 2023, Spain

On the 9th of March 2023, Formative Footprint organised a seminar with adult educators from Fundación Rondilla within the DIFA55+ project in Valladolid, Spain. Through the explanation of the project, and development process of the overdue project results, Enrico Fontana and Damiana Sudano from Formative Footprint presented the benefit of digitally well trained adult educators, for their learners disinvolvement at the moment of interacting with ICTs, with special regard to educational activities.

Formative Footprint speakers remarked the adaptability and usability of the digital practices for over 55 adults collected in PR1 and the relevance of the Web App digital skills assessment through PR2. As the attendance to the event were mainly educators, Formative Footprint speakers highlighted the Competence Map for digital knowledge, skills and attitudes that educators should assess and enhance. Finally, the Web App for every day digital skills assessment by the adult trainee was presented and discussed deeply, raising suggestions on it. 

The disseminative event – targeted adult educators who organizes their teaching sessions from scratches, constantly adapting the level of digital dynamics to their adults’ degree of understanding of ICTs and digital devices – was relevant to define the permanent integration of the Web App usage for the informatics learners starting, as well as finalizing their classes. Moreover, non-ICTs educators mentioned their disposition to use DIFA55+ results as basis for their educational sessions dynamization and evaluation assessment mainly.
