DIFA Multiplier Event, October 2023, Romania

The “Digital Facilitator for Adults 55+” Multiplier Event that took place on the 12th of October, 2023, in Marasesti, Romania, and was organized by Voluntariat Pentru Viata Association. Educators and other adult education staff were present to enhance their awareness and understanding of the Toolkit and Competence Map. This allowed them to refine their teaching skills and acquire a range of practices and tools for assessing and addressing the learning needs of adult students.

Adult learners were also an essential part of the event, recognizing the significance of digital skills in becoming proficient technology users for their daily activities and active participation in the educational community. Representatives from adult education organizations were present, taking advantage of the opportunity for professional networking and participating in vibrant discussions about innovations in adult education, particularly through the integration of digital technology.
Additionally, adult educators, trainers, and representatives of adult education organizations were exposed to clear examples of the benefits of adult education through the dissemination of the Ecosystem of digital education.

The overall evaluation of the multiplier event yielded positive feedback. The networking session held at the conclusion of the event added significant value to the presentation and discussion segments.
