Between 1 and 10 April 2026, representatives of TEAM4Excellence participated in an Erasmus+ training course in Varna, Bulgaria, dedicated to strengthening AI competences in non-formal adult education. Hosted by Coworking Space Varna Association Beehive, the course provided a practical and forward-looking learning experience focused on the use of artificial intelligence in educational and professional contexts.

Throughout the course, participants explored a wide range of AI tools and applications, including prompt engineering, AI-generated images and videos, data analysis, website development, AI agents, digital marketing, and emerging technologies such as virtual reality, 360° content, and 3D mapping. The programme combined theoretical input with hands-on workshops, allowing participants to experiment with innovative tools and apply them to real-life educational scenarios.

The training strongly supported the objectives of the AdultEdu project, which promotes innovation, digital readiness, and inclusive approaches in adult education. Beyond the technical competences acquired, the course encouraged creativity, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among participants from different backgrounds, creating opportunities for mutual learning and professional growth. A special contribution to this experience came from Galin Zhelyazkov and the team at Beehive, whose expertise and innovative approach created a dynamic environment where learning and experimentation went hand in hand.

The experience strengthened TEAM4Excellence’s capacity to integrate artificial intelligence into educational activities and reinforced its commitment to developing modern, engaging, and learner-centred approaches in adult education. The course concluded with new digital competences, valuable international connections, and a clearer vision of how AI can support the future of lifelong learning.
