From 17 to 26 April 2026, TEAM4Excellence attended the Erasmus+ training course “Trainers for the Future: Digital Skills, AI and Entrepreneurship” in Varna, Bulgaria. The course was delivered by Varna Economic Development Agency (VEDA), an organisation specialised in entrepreneurship, innovation, regional development, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The programme focused on digital skills, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, business planning, branding, marketing, and access to funding. Participants worked with practical tools such as the Business Model Canvas, explored AI applications for productivity and research, and developed ideas connected to real professional and educational contexts. The activities combined practical exercises, case studies, and collaborative learning approaches.

Alongside the training sessions, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the local innovation ecosystem through activities connected to organisations and initiatives operating in the Varna region. These experiences provided practical examples of how entrepreneurship, innovation, and European cooperation can support regional development, employment, and lifelong learning, while also encouraging networking and exchange of experiences among participants.

The mobility improved our ability to design future-oriented adult learning activities that combine digital innovation, AI, and entrepreneurial thinking in a practical and accessible way. It also provided valuable insights into emerging trends that influence education, employment, and lifelong learning.
