Adult Educators Explore AI Skills for Adult Education

During the period 20–26 April 2026, TEAM4Excellence took part in the Erasmus Group Mobility “Digital and cultural connection through the Erasmus programme” in Varna, Bulgaria. The mobility was hosted by Coworking Space Varna Association Beehive, an organisation active in digital, STEM, and entrepreneurial education, with experience in supporting educators and adults in the use of modern technologies.

The course focused on how artificial intelligence tools can support adult learning, communication, creativity, productivity, and learner engagement. Through classroom activities, guided discussions, reflection sessions, and cultural learning experiences, participants explored practical and responsible ways to integrate AI into adult education. The programme encouraged experimentation with innovative tools while promoting critical thinking about their educational value.

The programme was complemented by educational and cultural visits across Varna, including the Archaeological Museum, the Educational Museum, the Roman Thermae, and other local landmarks. These activities provided opportunities for intercultural exchange, informal learning, and reflection, while helping participants better understand the historical and cultural context of the host community.

The mobility strengthened our digital awareness and encouraged the development of more modern, creative, and relevant learning activities for adult learners. It also reinforced the importance of continuous professional development in response to rapid technological change.
