The aim of this training is to equipt youth workers and youth leaders in encouraging linguistic-verbal intelligence in youth work. Verbal intelligence is the ability to understand and reason using concepts framed in words. More broadly, it is linked to problem solving, abstract reasoning, and working memory. During the training we will break down verbal intelligence and it’s encouragment in youth work specifically.

Participants will:

• gain a deeper uderstanding of what motivates people’s actions, empower skills for listening,
• develop skills for speaking their reality gently, including saying ‘no’ and setting boundaries,
• strengthen self-care capacity and prevent burning-out, learn ways to express gratitude and feedback with care,
• learn ways to address the conflict in a win-win way,
• reflect their communication and behavioral patterns and have a lot of possibilities to practice with their colleagues.

We are looking for 2 participants that:

• are citizens of Romania;
• serious people
• are minimum 18 years old (no superior age limit);
• involved in working with young people;
• motivated and interested to learn about the topic of the project;
• are available to participate in all the days of the project.
