Multiplier Event for the ROBO Youth Project

Students of the ERS YURTDISI VE YURTICI EGITIM DAN YAZ MUH TUR DIS TIC LTD STI (ERS Student Services) from Adana, Turkey together with the robotics team from the Technological High School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications Constanta, VET teachers and teachers and students from other high schools in Constanta took part in the World Distance Learning Day conference organised by TEAM4Exellence (Romania) at Hotel Dobrogea.

The Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership ROBO Youth brings innovation and modern technologies in education with help from partners:

The Conference was addressed to youth workers (trainers, teachers) interested in the educational innovation. The subject of the event will focus on the results of intellectual work, i.e. an innovative educational program and teaching materials.

Objectives:

• approximation of the assumptions of educational innovation developed as part of the project and the process of its creation;
• familiarizing participants with the innovative program, its assumptions, objectives, subject matter, teaching methodology, practical use and evaluation;
• presenting and discussing the practical use of developed materials, i.e. class scenarios and films;
• discussion of issues related to the establishing, running and functioning of robotic teams;
• sharing good practices developed by partner organizations;
• presentation of robotic teams and their products – robots

Results:

• increasing knowledge about the opportunities offered by non-formal education in the area of modern technologies / STEM;
• acquiring knowledge in the area of the innovative program and the possibilities of its practical use in the participants’ organization;
• broadening the methodological workshop;
• strengthening the internal motivation of participants to improve their skills in youth work;
• positive impact on the participants’ self-esteem as trainers / teachers seeking new and better educational solutions.
