Rise & Shine Piloting

From 22 September to 24 October 2025 TEAM4Excellence hosted the Rise & Shine Piloting event at Constanța Maritime University. The aim was to test practical well-being tools and reflective methods that can be integrated into everyday youth work.

The first part was implemented as a 30-day challenge. Over the course of a month, participants practised with the Well-being Planner and the Reflective Practice Journal, completing daily micro-learning exercises such as “Connection Stories” and “Empathy through Portraits”. The challenge model emphasised short, repeatable activities that build emotional regulation, trust and peer support, and encouraged participants to embed these practices into their organisations’ routines.

The second part was the Well-being and Resilience Toolkit, delivered in a one-day session immediately after the 30-day challenge concluded. During this intensive day, the toolkit was adapted to organisational contexts through CPD activities: practitioners tested approaches for staff wellbeing, boundary-setting and trauma-informed practice, drafted short action plans, and provided feedback used to refine the materials for wider professional development use.

Participants increased confidence in stress management, reflective practice and peer support. The piloting demonstrated that creative, short-form activities combined with structured CPD are effective for embedding sustainable well-being practices in youth work.
