Wellbeing for Young Minds

On 19 November TEAM4Excellence hosted the Wellbeing for Young Minds event at the Constanta Maritime University, where youth workers, trainers and young participants joined a session dedicated to emotional well-being and reflective practice. The Rise&Shine project presentation introduced its purpose, key outcomes and European relevance, highlighting the need to support the well-being and resilience of both youth workers and young people.

Participants explored the Rise&Shine online platform, which contains Reflective Practice Journal, a collection of short 3–5-minute exercises designed to strengthen daily well-being routines. They were also introduced to the Well-Being and Resilience Toolkit, a collection of 18 creative activities combining art, music and movement, together with the 12-hour CPD training structure that helps professionals integrate well-being practices into non-formal education settings.

The session created a warm and open atmosphere, encouraging youth workers to exchange reflections about challenges in their practice. By the end, participants felt equipped with new strategies to embed well-being practices into their educational and community activities.
