Piloting the BeBlue Career Plan, September 2022, Spain

On the 19th September 2022, Sea Teach organised with the regional employment agency SOIB an employment workshop to showcase the mentoring tools of the BeBlue project. The event took place in Palma de Mallorca, at the University of the Balearic Islands. 10 unemployed youth and also students looking for future employment took part in the event.

Sea Teach presented the BeBlue project and showed the outputs. The Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership: Career Guidance in Blue Economy represents a consortium of partners from the following countries:

After explaining the online course, especially the Career Maps were explained. It then demonstrated to the participants how to complete the Career Plan and how the users can make this a valuable tool for their own advantage and career planning. Sea Teach also explained what a SWOT analysis is and how to use this for the personal career planning. The students and other participants were helped during the completion process by experienced staff who answered questions and supported the understanding of the methodology. The feedback was very positive and the Youth appreciated this systematic guidance.
