Creative Brand Builders
Last week on Monday, 7 October, our volunteer teams made an activity about marketing at Mihai Eminescu National College and Scoala Gimnaziala Nr.30 Gheorghe Titeica for teenagers aged between 13 and 18 years.
The goal of the activity was to engage students in a hands-on, interactive learning experience that deepened their understanding of core marketing concepts such as branding, target audience, slogans, and advertising strategies, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.
In a lively classroom, students teamed up for an interactive marketing challenge. First, they guessed brands by their logos, then created slogans for strange products (a drone that walks your dog, a spoon that vibrates if you eat too fast…) within five minutes. Afterward, each team designed a brand name and logo, followed by an advertising concept to promote their product. The activity blended creativity, teamwork, and real-world marketing skills.
The marketing activity was a success, and students were enthusiastic and inspired by the world of marketing. Participants provided positive feedback, highlighting how much they valued the hands-on approach and the opportunity to let their creativity run free. Many appreciated the collaborative tasks, which fostered peer learning.
