Language Café n°7: Social Entrepreneurship

The seventh edition of our language cafe was about social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship refers to a business which does not aim to generate profits but to act upon a social issue in order to improve the situation.

This was a great opportunity for participants to talk about the issues they see as important and needing fixing in society. They had the chance to brainstorm about possible causes, consequences and solutions on the specific issue of girls dropping out of school, based on a case study.

Finally, participants talked about whether they would want to develop a social entrepreneurship project and on which issue they would want to focus.
