The recent Combs Training workshop, delivered by TEAM4Excellence, brought together teachers, school counsellors, and education professionals to explore innovative approaches to sustainability education. The training was prepared and organised by the trainer and the ESC volunteers of TEAM4Excellence. As part of the GreenHive project, the event provided hands-on training on the Educational Resources developed to help VET providers promote sustainability competencies.

Held online on 21st January 2025 and in person on 22nd January 2025, the workshop combined discussions, hands-on exercises, and interactive practical activities. Participants explored resource applications, exchanged best practices, and collaborated on action plans using the Backcasting method to develop innovative sustainability strategies. Key topics included digital learning, social entrepreneurship, renewable energy, paperless teaching, and sustainable classroom practices, ensuring a well-rounded approach to sustainability education.

Attendees appreciated the opportunity to exchange ideas and develop strategies for integrating sustainability into their teaching. The workshop concluded with a strong commitment to advancing sustainability in education, reinforcing Green Hive’s role in supporting local initiatives​.
