Golden Age Reflections

On June 21, 2024, Team4Excellence and Roua Center organized an engaging workshop titled “It Was Better Before (or Not)?” at the ROUA office in Constanta, Romania. This event explored the concept of the golden age and stirred nostalgia among participants.

Divided into two groups, attendees created mental maps to compare their perceived golden past with the unknown future. They discussed the advantages of their idealized past while recognizing modern advancements. This exercise highlighted how differing views of the past influence our future expectations.

The workshop offered a platform for meaningful dialogue and self-reflection. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how their perspectives shape future expectations and left with a renewed sense of hope and solidarity.
