Golden Age Reflections

On June 21, 2024, the Roua Center and Team4Excellence organised an engaging event for adult people in ROUA office in Constanta, Romania. The workshop, titled “It was better before (or not)?”, explored the idea of the golden age and sparked nostalgia among participants.

Participants, divided into two groups, created mental maps for their past and future, to visually represent their thoughts and experiences, comparing their “Golden” past with the unknown future. They described the advantages of their golden age while acknowledging modern progress. This activity revealed how our views of the past differ and affect our expectations for the future.

The workshop provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and reflection. Participants left with a deeper understanding of how their mindset can shape their future expectations, as well as a renewed sense of hope and solidarity.
