Generation SDG Piloting

Between November 7th and 13th TEAM4Excellence hosted Face-to-Face and online piloting events related to the Generation SDG project at Constanța Maritime University. Young people and youth workers took part in a blended learning experience combining face-to-face and online activities. A total of 30 participants with varied backgrounds explored how the Sustainable Development Goals can inspire meaningful and practical community action.

In the Face-to-Face session, participants registered on the e-learning platform, completed introductory modules, and collaborated in groups to develop Mind Maps for the selected SDGs. Using the project toolkit, they examined local challenges, identified key stakeholders and proposed solutions related to health, gender equality, climate action, responsible consumption, education and clean water.

During the online session participants shared reflections, contributed to a collaborative Padlet space and finalised their short action plans. Both sessions reflected a high level of motivation, with many participants expressing interest in initiating their own local activities.

Overall, the piloting confirmed that blended learning and creative, group-based tasks can significantly enhance young people’s understanding of the SDGs and strengthen their capacity to design practical solutions for their communities.
