Intergenerational learning activities

The event “Evening of sitters” was created on the occasion of the International Day of Elderly people. The activity was based on occupational therapy workshops attended by the 33 seniors from the elderly together with the students of the general schools from Marasesti, teachers and parents.

The activity “Evening of sitters” hosted the reconstruction of a traditional sitter with dance, traditional music, tastings of products specific to the Vrancea area (smoked cheese, Serbian, zacusca, vegetable stew, organic meat products), but also for the purpose of transmitting occupations ancient such as: wool torso, braiding, crocheting.
