European Solidarity in Action

During the GreenTravel Through Aerialverse Symposium, held on 6 June 2025 in Constanța, we proudly presented one of its most impactful initiatives—the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering programme. This moment highlighted how youth engagement, civic responsibility, and cross-cultural collaboration are at the heart of building a greener, more inclusive Europe.

Our ESC volunteers played a crucial role in the preparation, organisation, and promotion of the symposium. From designing materials and coordinating logistics to supporting participants and documenting the event, they demonstrated:

  • Responsibility and initiative in real-life project management,
  • Creativity in content creation and online visibility efforts,
  • Teamwork across cultures and languages.

Their involvement not only enhanced the quality and reach of the event but also showed how volunteering can be a powerful learning experience—contributing to both personal growth and social impact.

Their work at the symposium stands as a model of active European citizenship, proving that solidarity is more than a concept—it’s a practice. In addition, by showcasing the ESC volunteering experience at an international event, we reinforced the message that youth engagement is essential to building sustainable societies, and the volunteering is a gateway to lifelong learning and civic participation.
