European Researchers Night 2025

On 26 September 2025, the TEAM4Excellence team participated in this year’s European Researchers’ Night at the Constanța Maritime University. We showcased our AI-related projects and promoted their results, connecting research with the broader public. This science outreach event unites researchers, students, and citizens across Europe in a night of discovery and exploration.

During the event, we presented AI4YouW project, highlighting its upcoming workshops and Open Educational Resources (OERs) designed to empower youth workers in responsibly integrating AI into their practices. We also introduced the INAIR project, tailored for retail sector stakeholders to build AI skills aligned with workforce needs.

At the university venue, students from schools of Constanta, interested in the maritime domain, joined in on hands-on demonstrations and mini-labs. Guests enjoyed various simulators used for real-life maritime simulations, and listened to sessions about how to begin a career in the maritime industry, sector opportunities, and education pathways.

This Researchers’ Night was more than a presentation — it served as a bridge between research and community. Visitors left inspired, and we gained valuable feedback and new connections. By bringing AI projects into public view, we contribute to building awareness, supporting uptake, and fostering trust in technology.
