Between April 10–17, 2025, a group of eight adult educators from TEAM4Excellence Association participated in an intensive training course hosted by EvroPro Ltd. in Shumen, Bulgaria. The course, titled “Implementation of Non-Formal Education in Schools and Adult Learning Organisations,” was part of the Erasmus+ mobility project KA121-ADU-000145723, designed to strengthen the capacity of educators in the field of adult education.

Throughout the week, participants engaged in practical and reflective activities aimed at improving their ability to design and deliver inclusive, learner-centred educational experiences. The programme covered a wide range of topics, from leadership and group facilitation, to interactive planning and the use of non-formal learning methods such as energisers, icebreakers, and experiential learning strategies.

Key activities included case study analysis, group project development, and feedback sessions, enabling participants to reflect on their progress and integrate the learning into their own educational practice. Educators worked collaboratively on designing non-formal lessons tailored to the needs of various adult learner groups, with a strong focus on engagement, inclusivity, and adaptability.

The course also emphasised the importance of mentoring, peer feedback, and cross-cultural exchange, aligning with the European Development Plan of TEAM4Excellence. Participants received both a Certificate of Participation and a Europass Mobility Certificate to formally recognise the skills and competencies acquired.

This mobility provided not only new tools and teaching strategies but also the inspiration and confidence to innovate in adult learning. By fostering collaboration between Romanian and Bulgarian educators, this Erasmus+ experience contributes to building stronger, more inclusive educational ecosystems across Europe.
