Entrepreneurial attitude for future youth work conference, November 2022, Romania

On 22 November 2022, TEAM4Excellence Association organised the conference “Entrepreneurial attitude for the future of youth activities” at the Maritime University of Constanta. The event gathered 38 participants: teachers from VET high schools in Constanta county, university professors, students and representatives of students and organizations such as the Student Entrepreneurial Society, the Blue Career Center Association, the National Center for the Promotion of Intermodal Transport and the European Center for Social Responsibility.

The conference started with a presentation of the values of TEAM4Excellence and the Erasmus programme by the organisers. Participants were given promotional materials about the Entrepreneurial mindset for future youth work project, leaflets, as well as business models and career plans to help them in the field of entrepreneurship. Afterwards, Nicoleta Acomi from TEAM4Excelence presented the results of the EnMind project:

• A toolkit for entrepreneurs
• An online course on Social Entrepreneurship
• The EnMind Platform

In the second part of the event we involved a group of young people from the Student Entrepreneurial Society in identifying business ideas, and they presented them to us in a competition with an expert jury. The young people came up with new and innovative ideas such as a drone food delivery business, an electric truck shipping company and an online course platform. At the end, we awarded the prize to the winner Mihaela Pescaru, who presented her project on electric car transportation, and she was encouraged by the jury to participate in a national program to finance young entrepreneurs in Romania.
