Empowering Youth through AI: Highlights from Researchers' Night 2024

On 27th December 2024, our team joined the inspiring event hosted by Constanta Maritime University as part of the Researchers’ Night initiative, welcoming over 200 youth and 20 VET teachers. We proudly presented the AI4Youth Work, an EU-funded initiative designed to equip young people and youth workers with critical AI skills.

The AI4Youth Project addresses the growing need for young individuals and their mentors to navigate the digital transformation era confidently, critically, and responsibly. With AI technologies influencing various aspects of daily life, this initiative seeks to bridge the gap between AI’s widespread use and the limited understanding of its workings. Implemented in an European consortium, the project responds to the pressing need for accessible education and training resources for the youth sector. By doing so, it aims to reduce the disparities between digitally proficient professionals and those who feel excluded or overwhelmed by the pace of digital transformation.

Our participation in the event was really interesting. We not only promoted our AI skills development initiative, but also connected with many young people who are eager to make a positive impact. We look forward to continuing this work and reaching even more youth in the future.
