Description of the Project:

 

The inception of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “DigitUp – Take it Slow” emerged from a keen observation of the contemporary digital landscape, recognizing the rapid technological advancements, increased social media reliance, and escalating threats of cybersecurity issues and fake news. Input from educators and youth organizations, coupled with direct engagement with young individuals, underscored the urgent need for a project addressing these challenges.

Number of participants: 5 young people +1 youth leader per country

Participants:

  • aged 18-27 years old
  • Romanian citizen
  • interested in the topic of the project
  • motivated to participate in the whole project including the dissemination phase
  • priority will be given to the participants with fewer opportunities

Group leader:

  • aged 18+ (no upper age limit)
  • Romanian citizen
  • motivated to participate in the whole project
  • have some basic experience in youth exchanges
  • be able to facilitate a group of young people

Some logistical information:

  • Arrival : 12th of April before 15:00
  • Departure: 21st of April after 11:00
  • you can stay in Bulgaria for 2 extra days (remember that the accommodation and food will be on your expenses during those extra days)
  • accommodation and food will be covered by the organizers (more details about the accommodation place will be found in the infopack)
  • additionally the organizers will reimburse the travel costs (see the reimbursement limits in the infopack)
  • the organizers of this project asks a participation fee of 50 euros  (20 euros for participants using green travel) 
  • NO participation fee for the group leader
