Between 18 – 19 July 2025, TEAM4Excellence joined the vibrant atmosphere of the CyberSea Festival, a two-day celebration of innovation, digital entrepreneurship, and emerging talent, held at Baza Nautică – UMC in Constanța, Romania. With a dynamic programme featuring workshops, keynotes, mentoring, and live demos, CyberSea brought together tech creators, startup founders, and supporters of youth innovation.

Over the two days, participants explored key topics such as cybersecurity, startup financing, cold calling for MVP validation, and public speaking for entrepreneurs — all designed to sharpen the mindset and toolkit of aspiring founders. In the heart of this entrepreneurial ecosystem, TEAM4Excellence provided direct support to our EYE (Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs) participant, Ritika, co-founder of MoneyMate Pay — a biometric mobile payment solution currently in its MVP (Minimum Viable Product) stage.

Throughout the event, attendees engaged in a wide range of practical learning experiences, including expert-led mentoring sessions, hands-on workshops, and business development activities. Highlights included the “Build a Digital Product in 1 Hour” session, as well as targeted sessions on customer discovery, and public speaking for startup founders. These activities provided valuable tools and insights for young innovators to sharpen their ideas, enhance their business strategies, and connect with key players in the startup ecosystem.

The culmination of the festival was the Demo Time pitch panel, where selected startups presented their ventures to a jury of investors and tech leaders. The EYE team confidently pitched MoneyMate Pay, showcasing its secure, phone-free, fingerprint-based transaction model designed for young urban users and campus vendors. Their innovative, privacy-first approach stood out as a promising fintech solution among the competition.

TEAM4Excellence was proud to provide continuous mentoring throughout the event — from pitch refinement to feedback evaluation — helping the EYE team make the most of this opportunity. Their success at CyberSea highlights not only their entrepreneurial potential, but also the value of European mobility programmes like EYE in supporting youth-led innovation.
