Description of the Project:

The main goals of the training are:
– to create a context of common knowledge, exchange and reflection among youth workers operating in different local contexts;
– to create a space to experiment new educational practices to increase youth workers expertise, so that they can be able to intervene in a conscious
and flexible way in their non-formal education contexts;
– to open to an interpretative view of reality that consider and respect its complexity;
– to share and spread ideas and practices inspired by a nonviolent approach.

Participants profile:

The participants will be 3 youth workers aged 18+ (no superior age limit) who are actively engaged in the activity of youth education and youth work. A minimum B2 level of English knowledge is required.
To take part to the training course, the participants are requested to:
– attend 2 webinars: Saturday 18th June, h.10:00-12:00 and Wednesday 3rd August, h.18.00-20.00 (both Brussels local time), as online preliminary parts
of the training course;
– prepare a case study to be discussed during the training and are possibly invited to share their own educational tools.
