Blue Generation National Seminar, September 2023, Romania

On 25th September, a national seminar was held as part of the Blue Generation project, organised by TEAM4Excellence Association, where over 80 young people were informed about careers in the blue economy.

The participants attended a presentation given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cristina Dragomir, representative in Romania of the European Centre for Social Responsibility, and received the Blue Generation Career Guide in magazine format. Young people were introduced to blue economy through a series of interviews with specialists in each blue sector and learned more about training and work opportunities in various sectors of the field. The event also piloted the Blue Generation Career Platform, a platform where young people can get in touch with blue companies in Europe, see job requirements in specific sectors, and apply for these jobs.

The facilitator answered a series of questions about the project and working in the blue economy, and the young people appreciated the project results.
