Art therapy - "Cai verzi pe pereți"

We joined the Open Doors community centre to support the “Cai verzi pe pereți” project – a painting campaign for care and social assistance centres in Constanta county.

The objective of this campaign is to contribute to the improvement of the emotional needs of both the beneficiaries of the centres and their employees.

We participated for three days and visited 2 centres:

• “Aristotel” Centre for the Empowerment and Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities, Techirghiol
• Techirghiol Children’s Home.

They say that they do art therapy, and we say it works.  We saw the joy and exclamation of the children and adults in these centres, and this made us feel good.

We believe that only through mutual support we can grow as a community. We enjoyed being with Open Doors and bringing some colour into the lives of souls in need.
