AI4YouW Training of Trainers

On 13 and 17 October, Team4Excellence took part in the AI4YouthWork Training of Trainers, designed to strengthen the practical use of AI in youth work. Participants joined from several countries and included trainers, teachers, and youth workers.

The programme opened with a short welcome and icebreaker to connect the group and clarify goals. The first part presented project insights into AI concepts and the AI Competence Framework for Youth Workers, followed by a guided tour of mapped AI tools—what they do, how they support non-formal learning, and the risks to consider.

After a short pause, the group moved into collaborative workshops. Through a workshop simulation, trainers tried ready-to-use activities from the project plans and reflected on how to adapt them to different contexts. During sharing and peer feedback, participants exchanged ideas and practical tips for applying AI ethically and effectively with young people.

The wrap-up and next steps segment summarised key learnings and offered guidance for staying connected and replicating activities locally.
