On November 19th, TEAM4Excellence hosted AI4YouW Final Conference at the Constanta Maritime University, where youth workers, educators and community stakeholders explored how artificial intelligence can support inclusive and engaging learning experiences. It featured a forward-looking session on responsible and effective use of AI in youth work.

The presentation introduced the AI4YouthWork project, showcasing the AI Competence Framework and the Digital Catalogue of e-Learning experiences on AI. Participants also examined the Map of Trustworthy AI Solutions, which helps youth workers assess which digital tools align with ethical, safe and transparent AI use. Practical examples from the AI Training Toolkit illustrated how AI-themed workshops can be delivered to young people, encouraging responsible digital behaviour and critical thinking.

In addition to the presentations, the conference included focused discussions with youth workers, educators and policymakers on the broader implications of integrating AI into youth services. Participants examined current challenges such as data protection, digital skills gaps and the need for clear ethical guidelines when selecting and applying AI tools. The live demonstration of the AI4YouthWork e-learning platform allowed attendees to explore learning pathways, digital badges and interactive resources first-hand, significantly boosting their confidence in using the platform independently. Stakeholders also contributed ideas for future policy recommendations to ensure that AI adoption in youth work remains safe, inclusive and aligned with European standards.

The session strengthened participants’ understanding of AI’s role in modern youth work and encouraged them to integrate these resources into future training activities.
