AGE Multiplier Event, October 2023, Spain

On the 26th of October 2023, Asociación Deses-3, in collaboration with Fundación Rondilla, developed an event on “The Learning Age” Erasmus+ projects results. At the Rondilla Civic Centre of Valladolid, 40 attendants came to get to know the Programme, the AGE project, and the two-years-joint work of two non-profit associations from the same province, willing to work with youngsters and elderly, promoting inclusion and empowerment.

Different project experiences were shared, as well as the seniors digital training was showcased through the vision of the videos created and starred by the same elderly people taking part in the intergenerational meetings previously implemented in Spring. It was indeed an emotional moment for the event attendants, among whom there where seniors, educators, and some Youth as well, from the local community.

It was the perfect occasion to remind locals of the relevance of active ageing, intergenerational education and digitalization as a need for the older part of the population. The discussion was continued during a networking space, with precious ideas sharing for AGE project follow-up and further similar actions.
