- A 7-day training course took place between 20th – 26th of October 2019, in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The training course brought together 30 participants from 10 organisations from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Poland.
A combination of practical instructions and the opportunity to practice in actual digital environments. Non-formal learning activities with a participative and learner-centred approach, will be carried out (ice breakers and energisers, discussions in the plenary, question & answer sessions, group- building activities, simulation exercises, debriefing after each exercise, case studies, work in small groups, brainstorming, presentations, info sessions for theoretical input, hands- on experiences, team games, tests, intercultural events. There will be place for reflection on learning experiences and outcomes.
With this training course, SEAL CYPRUS will bring together youth workers and trainers from European organisations in order to:
promote the Digital Competence and Media Literacy among the individual participants (youth workers/ youth trainers) and the target groups of the organisations and
use Information Society Technology (IST) and Information Communication Technologies (ICT) to develop the quality of youth work.
learn how to raise the visibility of youth organisations, their projects, and their target groups.
30 youth workers, youth trainers, facilitators and youth leaders enriched their toolbox with digital tools to raise their professional profile and promote youth work.
