COURSES FOR DIGITAL FACILITATORS AND TRAINERS
DigiFacT is an Erasmus + project that embodies a new approach to support the digital resources in teaching in the VET community in Europe. We aim to give educators better tools to improve their own digital skills and those of their students, with the creation of the Digital Facilitator Trainer (DFT) role, an innovative figure that makes the process of learning much easier.
With this project we look to support the uptake of innovative approaches and digital technologies in teaching, which becomes a real need after the Pandemic. We develop an education methodology that can provide tailor-made solutions adapted to local challenges and realities, using providers and experts in educational technologies and pedagogical practices.

DigiFacT addresses a huge gap in the VET community in Europe, the lack of digital learning resources in teaching, essential to help educators to develop their own digital skills, with the ultimate purpose of engaging the youth and provide them with key knowledge and skills in the digital era.
Therefore, with the guidance of 90 educators with increased pedagogical skills, we are developing a, much needed, Digital Community in the use of technology for digital training in VET. This Digital Community reaches more than 600 young people, with a focus on those with fewer opportunities. These people are trained with this methodology, which helps them finding jobs.
Trainers have the opportunity to add to their toolbox of non-formal education methods, using digital resources in English as well as in their own languages (TR, RO, ES). These tools are essential for educators, they give them support in expressing through digital media, communicating in the digital world, interpreting information and making informed decisions.
